HAKU COLLECTIVE’S
MeleCraft Mentorship
Learn more about our free mentorship program on Maui!
We are excited to announce our expanded community program from our MeleCraft Bootcamp in Lahaina, Maui, dedicated to empowering young artists with a music mentorship focus, led by our founder and Grammy nominated producer Kimié Miner.
Haku Collective offers youth weekend workshops on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi Island, and Maui, that teach aspiring artists how to create quality music through an artistic approach, while remaining authentic and learning critical industry skills that empower self-awareness, healthy expression, executive thinking and resilience.
The Melecraft Bootcamp will connect high school students and young adults, ages 14-22, with established creative professionals such as Grammy-nominated producer Kimié Miner, “Roots Girl” ELI-MAC, American Idol’s Oliver Steele (Season 21), and Lahaina’s own Joshua Kahula of Nuff Sedd.
This FREE mentorship program honors Hawaiian culture, language, business and essential life skills that support rising music makers in Hawaiʻi. The MeleCraft Mentorship Program is made possible in partnership with presenting sponsors: Maui County’s Office of Economic Development and The Henry Kapono Foundation, and with the support of Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows, Texaco in Hawaiʻi and Alaska Airlines.
More program dates are in the works, so stay tuned for updates! Check back here or follow us on Instagram at @hakucollective for the latest details.
