Haku Collective’s MeleCraft Bootcamp

We are excited to announce an island wide expanded community program from our MeleCraft Bootcamp, dedicated to empowering young artists with a music mentorship focus.

Haku Collective offers youth weekend workshops to high school students and young adults, ages 14-22, with established creative professionals such as Kimié Miner, Anuhea, Paula Fuga, Henry Kapono, IZIK, Ark Woods, Hāwane, Kaʻikena Scanlan and Kainani Kahaunaele.

This FREE mentorship program honors Hawaiian culture, language, business and essential life skills that support rising music makers to create music grounded in sustainable artistic health. The MeleCraft Mentorship Program is made possible in partnership with presenting sponsors: Maui County’s Office of Economic Development and The Henry Kapono Foundation, and with the support of Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows, Texaco in Hawaiʻi and Alaska Airlines.

Past MeleCraft Bootcamps

Since it’s debut in 2017, MeleCraft Bootcamp has had six successful classes! A FREE creative youth workshop mentored by some of Hawaiʻiʻs brightest stars that teaches young aspiring artists in Hawai’i how to create quality songs and find their authentic voice. Students are mentored by award winning artists like Henry Kapono, Kimié Miner, Paula Fuga, and world class producers like Leslie Ludiazo and Imua Garza.
